Yan Wang

Yan's research interest is in ZnO nanowires and its applications in light-emitting diodes (LEDs). His research topic is to make homojuction LED device using n-type and p-type ZnO nanowires with a quantum barrier layer in between. The performance of the device will mostly depends on the quality of p-type ZnO nanowires fabricated and how the quantum barrier layer affects the electron-hole recombination process.
